Bajling Dhar: Pankhu Top trek is an Unexplored thrill in Uttarakhand

The Bajling Dhar-Pangu Top Trek is an unexplored trek in Uttarakhand. This trek is situated on the top most connecting ridge above khati village. There is no source of drinking water during the trek. You can find 180 degree view of Himalaya and also awesome view of Mt. Nanda Banar(6236mtr.), Mt.Nandakot(6861mtr)or Mt. Laspadhura(5913mtr). The entire trekking tour route is beautiful and very scenic.

Best Season: Mid-April to end of November. Avoid travelling in monsoon season.

Detailed Itinerary of Bajling Dhar Panku Top Trek:

DAY 1: Drive From Kathgodam To Khati Village Via Almora/ Bageshwar  (210 Kms, 9-10 HRS, Altitude 2210 Mtr.)

We pick you up early in the morning from Kathgodam Railway station and drive from Kathgodam to Bageshwar via almora and then proceed our journey to Khati village.Bageshwar is situated at the confluence of river Saryu, Gomati. Khati is the largest and last village on the Kafni and Pindari Glacier trek. Khati village is situated on the banks of Pinder River at an altitude of 2210m. Enjoy your stay in Khati Village by interacting with villagers and visiting the Khati Village temple. Overnight stay at Khati. 

DAY 2:  Trek From Khati To Bajling Dhar (5.5 Km. Trek Approx, Altitude 2,210 Mtr)

We start the trek with a good breakfast in Khati Village. The trek from Khati to Bajling Dhar is picturesque and full of natural beauty. The trail passes through thick forest of Rhododendrons. Overnight camp at Bajling Dhar. Today we will have our packed lunch on the way.

DAY 3:  Trek From Bajling Dhar To Panku Top & Back To Khati (15KM. Trek Approx, Altitude 2,575 Mtr.)

Today we will move early for pankhu top trek with early breakfast. After successfully reaching Pankhu Top, we enjoy the beauty and magnificent view of Mt Nanda khat, Mt. Nanda kot, Mt Changujh and many more peaks we spent some time there. After that we will take the trail back to bajlingdhar and khati village. The descent from Pangu Top to Bajling dhar can be done swiftly in 1 – 2 hours. From Bajling Dhar to Khati, follow the same route, it takes around 2– 3 hours to complete this stretch. Dinner and overnight camp in khati village.

DAY 4:  Drive From Khati To Kathgodam Via Bageshwar/Almora ( Drive 210Km. 9-10 Hrs Approx)

Today Jeep will be waiting to drive you Kathgodam with treasured memories of the Bajlingdhar-Pankhu Top Trek. Start early in the morning if you plan reaching Kathgodam by evening. Trip ends here with unforgettable memories. After that you will continue your drive to your respective places.

By Train: You can easily get regular trains to Kathgodam Railway Station from other major cities of the country.from Delhi take the Ranikhet Express (5014) Dep. Delhi at 10:40pm arrival Kathgodam at 5:30am (Overnight Journey) or the Uttar sampark kranti (5035) Dep. Delhi at 4:00pm arrival Kathgodam at 10:40pm (6 hrs.40min.Journey).From Dehardun take the Doon Express (4120) Dep. Dehardun at 10:30 pm arrival Kathgodam at 7:10 pm (8hrs.journey)

By Bus: - Regular buses ply from ISBT Delhi Anand Vihar station to Kathgodam. Buses that go to Nainital stops at Haldwani which is a twin town of Kathgodham (8 hrs. Journey)

In the event of cancellation of trek/adventure activity services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: -

Cancellation prior to 24 days from the start of the trek get 75% refund.

Cancellation between 23 days and 14 days to the start of the trek get 70% refund.

Cancellation between 13 days and 10 days to the start of the trek get 50% refund.

Cancellation less than 09 days to the start of the trek No cash refund.
