The Do Dham Yatra is a revered Hindu pilgrimage that involves visiting two of the four sacred Char Dham shrines in Uttarakhand: Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is considered highly auspicious and spiritually rewarding.Kedarnath Dham (Lord Shiva) Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand (3,583 meters above sea level) One of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a key temple in the Panch Kedar circuit.Badrinath Dham (Lord Vishnu Chamoli district, Uttarakhand (3,300 meters above sea level) One of the Char Dhams and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Tapt Kund (hot spring), Neelkanth Peak, Mana Village.
Day wise Itinerary:
Day 1 - Haldwani To Guptakashi
Start your journey from Haldwani & Overnight stay in Guptakashi
Day 2 - Guptakashi to Kedarnath
Morning after breakfast, today we will go to Kedarnath. To reach Kedarnath you will have two options. One if by trekking and other is by Air via Helicopter (at your own cost).
Day 3 - Kedarnath To Guptakashi
In morning you can explore nearby areas by walk at Kedarnath. Later reach Guptkashi as per your choice by trek or Helicopter.
Day 4 - Guptakashi To Badrinath
Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel , arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan - Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus).
Day 5 - Badrinath To Karnprayag
There are other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh of the Saraswati River”. Just within the three km of Badrinath.
Day 6 - Karnprayag to Haldwani
